Vintage Dress 1980s 80s Yellow Floral Silk Shift Style by Casi for Samuel Spigel B40 W41
Beautiful silk yellow floral day or casual dress by Casi. Bright sunny yellow background with orange and green florals and trim. Shift style which is sleeveless and without defined waist. Two large front patch pockets are trimmed in the green and orange wide piping as is the neck and armholes. Closes in the back with a hidden zipper. Belt is double wide cord, unattached so you can use it or not. Completely lined in a soft yellow acetate.
Fabric: Silk blend with acetate lining
Label: Casi, Made in Hong Kong British Crown Colony, Dry Clean Only. Also Samuel Spigel of Roanoke Virginia which is a store label which closed in 1991.
Condition: Lovely condition, shows no age or issues. Such lovely condition I assumed it had never been worn but on closer inspection I can see on the interior lining that it has been let out some. Nothing shows on the outside, just looks like some adjustment was made to give more room with the lining. However, this dress is in exquisite condition. Lovely for those spring days and casual affairs.
